Dell launched the G series of gaming laptops in India sometime back. The Dell G7 7500 laptop is one of the high-end models and comes at a starting price of over 1 lakh. Here is our review of the device. DELL G7 7500 has got a sober, very professional look with an overall matte finish; the top and bottom parts of the chassis, the top lid of the display, the hinge, everything has a matte finish. The laptop comes in only one color variant: Anodized Mineral Black. The fingerprints and light smudges don’t leave a noticeable trace on the body of the laptop, except for the touchpad. The G7 7500 is a bit on the heavy side, weighing more than 2.5 kg. It, however, does not look like a conventional gaming laptop and if you switch off the RGB lighting.
Our review unit had a 6-core 10th Generation Intel Core i7-10750H processor coupled with 16GB DDR4 2933 MHz (dual-channel) RAM and comes with a 6GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card. The laptop runs Windows 10 Home and has a 1TB (M.2 2280, PCIe NVMe Gen3 x4) SSD.
The laptop comes with these ports: one USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with PowerShare, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one combined port for headphone and microphone, one HDMI 2.0 port, one power-adapter port, one Thunderbolt 3 (USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C) port, one Mini DisplayPort and one RJ-45 Killer Networks E2500V2 Gigabit Ethernet port.
